Im wondering if someone can help me??? I cant seem to log on to second life i have downloaded the site but when i try and log on it comes up with a box saying the following.... Unable to connect to second life. DNs could not resolve the host name Please verify that you can connect to the www.secondlife.comwebsite. If you can, but continue to receive this error, please goto the support section and report this problem. Has anyone got any ideas as to what to do or what i need to do to get on the site?? I went to the support section on this site also but couldnt find anywhere to put the information... sorry if i sound silly but im not sure what to do next!! Thanks in advance for any help i can get!!

Something is definately 'up' today. The forums aren't loading and the grid is slow, almost as usual really. Well when it can't connect it meant the grid isn't running. Try again, or check the main site, go to the bottom, and hit grid status. It will let you know if the grid is live or down.

When I have trouble with this website, which I did just have trying to post a reply, I find that clearing the cookies for secondlife.com usually fixes it. I've been having some odd behavior from other sites as well so I just cleared all cookies.
The grid is up, and I just logged in my SuezanneC Blackflag alt, so logins appear to be, if not exactly working, not completely turned off at the moment.
For the DNS problem, you might try restarting your modem and router.
