If I find a full SIM that I just "have to have" - I'd have to sell my 1/4 sim. I obviously don't want to go up to pay for two full SIM for a month (what I would have to do to go over a full SIM) - so I thought maybe renting tier.... but not sure how it works or reputible persons.

Check Covenants of any sim you travel to, if it doesnt answer EVERY question you have, you should look for a sim that does have a covenant that answers every question.
Not sure if thats the answer your looking for but sound advice none the less

Hmmm, I thought there was something that you retn tier from - but it is your land.

Contact Elanthius Flagstaff inworld or Skye Whitcroft. They rent tier in big amounts like that and are very reputable.

You have to have someone donate tier to your group. You pay them for the donation at whatever the rate is. There is always the risk that you will pay this person and then they will run off, leaving you without money and without tier to cover your land.

The most prominent renter of tier is Elanthius Flagstaff, and he's very organized and reputable.

I use them and it runs like clockwork.

i highly recommond em for your tier needs.

as for HOW it works.

1) you make a group
2) you pay someone to donate tier to said group
3) you make sure you have at least 2 members of your group

i recommend you make at least 2 or 3 alts and make them all owners of your group as well, in case anything happens to one account you can still access your land and do everything that way. to be safe

4) you buy land, when you buy it dont use the 'buy land' button the pie menu, instead you hit 'About Land' then you will see a button that say 'Buy For Group' use that button.
Make sure you have teh group ACTIVATED before you do that tho

5) Enjoy your land !

This works for accounts that have NO PAYMENT INFO ON FILE
So you can buy, own, sell, trade, land with out ever having to be a 'premium member'
