Say i get 200/day on my visitor counter (no other stores anywhere else on the sim) as a record high one day. Why would my traffic scores shoot up to nearly 6k that week if this was my highest? I would have had to have had a whole month of those days to get that result. I don't get it....

Doesn't it have to do with how much time they spend on your sim? As in one av times x amount of time divided by (5 minutes?) = to avs being counted?

Reading these very forums has led me to believe that traffic incorporates a number of mechanisms inobvious to visitor counters. For instance, having someone select your land as a 'Pick' adds to the total, as does the percentage of time a visitor spends on your land out of their total time online that day.
I could, of course, be completely wrong. The exact mechanic of traffic is shrouded to reduce automated accumulation.
