Free Gowns/Tuxes Locations - for New Year's

LittleMe sent out a note card through the Cartel group, which is a great idea. I thought it might be a great idea to extend it to the forums, too.

Please post the SLurl and name of the places where someone can find a high quality, currently available, gown or tux or other finery for New Year's celebration.

Items should ideally be free but anything 10 Lindens and under is also good. Please, make these things that anyone can get without joining a group or subscribo. (Prize hunts are okay. Long as it's free and no strings attached.)

(Nearby store will ask you to click yes to affirm you are not a bot. That's annoying, but getting to Moda Free is worth it. Especially for the guys - best tuxes I've seen; they even have one with tails.) They also have 3 male and 3 female nude skins high on the wall in case that offends anyone.

There is a mini gift hunt going on at my place and the gifts are still out - so stop by and get them before they are gone. As of now the wonderful shoes from Mondira & Viviane Fashion, and the cute hair from Amacci, and the green gown with red bows are all still out. All but the gown are by this Slurl, the gown is by the fireplace just down the 'hill.' Nothing's hard to find. There is stuff for the guys too; a formal tux and shoes are in one of the stockings by the same fireplace the gown gift is near. Other gifts are scattered around the place, too. (Male camo pants, hat, and hair.) But those are the formal items. There is a female full perm skin in one stocking and a box full of other female full perm skins wedged in a palm tree.

I hope that helps someone...I really love the gown and shoes which were both made specially for this hunt. And they match perfectly. So get 'em while you can...

It also has some dresses although those are not the standard New Year's Eve type.

Well........ while I did create the card last year, or maybe the year before, or help with the locations, or something, I cannot take credit for actually remembering to send it out this year - someone else remembered that. Hopefully they also remembered to verify the LMs because otherwise they might not have been verified since roughly this time last year.

I do have a couple of other places that I have found recently and forgot to add to the notecard, so I'll find the LMs when I log in later and post them here.

What???? I bought that Butterfly gown at Marinoco in 3 colors not 6 weeks ago. Havnt even worn them yet! And now they're free??? Well, hell.........

Yes, I was the one who sent out the notecard, and the LMs were all verified as of December 23rd. By and large, they are pretty stable locations. The notecard had not been verified in over six months, and only a few LMs were outdated.

Additional contributions of stable locations for good freebies are welcome. Drop me a note inworld and I can add them for the next time we do a distribution of the notecard.

LaRosa's outlet store has a few gown - far right side, back towards the back. Everything at the outlet store is 10L.

I am verifying all of my freebie/cheapie places and the vast majority no longer exist.

Bummer - the free box under the tree at Marinoco contains the dress in Pink, Blue, Lilac/Plum, and Jadeite(green).

I've got many dresses from Marinoco and always receive fabulous compliments when I wear them. They flow beautifully when dancing.

As it so happens though, I did NOT already have any of that particular dress.

I have gone there on the recommendation from you and also seeing you in her gowns...I have never failed to find something there at a very reasonable price for a special occasion. In agreement with the flow of the gown.
