Add smello-feelo-gravito-vision and a special chairs and treadmills, bodysuits, that exercises and provides sensation to the body so movement moves the avatars, etc. and it would be nice.

Oh wait...it's LL...

They'll have to get a bigger Mice to run the wheels.

I don't believe that to even be real-time rendering, rather it's a flythrough movie made in some 3D app that probably took days or weeks to render.

Would be nice though.

Considering the abundance of photo-real textures already out on the grid, I should think that the new lighting model shown on Karl's website will go a very long way toward upping the realism ante.

The first video referenced in this thread is not something I would expect to see anytime soon in Second Life. Unreal is referenced in the description, which only supports Direct X and as far as I know does not stream content real-time the way SL does. It would be cool, but I don't see how it would be possible.

days at worst with a single quadro workstation.
