Squashed Lampshades Rising

Hello everyone,

A new problem has developed for me which I haven't seen during the last seven months. I'll do my best to describe this.

When I TP ANYWHERE, while things are rezzing, any number of poof-like images float up. They could be green, red, or blue. They are two-dimensional, and they remind me of "squashed" lamp shades. No I have not been smoking peyote buttons lately.

The poofs disappear after everything rezzes, unless something moves: a light comes on, an avie moves, something rotates, etc.. Then the poof emanates from the moving item. It really is bad at a dance club; I just leave.

Reinstalling did not help. I have a Nvidia card, and Vista Home Premium. Regardless, this problem never occurred before on this machine.

Any thoughts or solutions are greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Sincerely,
Avanti

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

yep looks like you have a debug setting on for some reason that shows any updates to an object's movement.

Ctl-Alt-D invokes or hides the debug menu.

Hey thanks Ann. You must be a genius. :) It worked. I don't remember turning that on, but I must have. Have a nice evening!
