I need URL's for my parcel I want music for my land, I know how where to add the link, I just need url's that work, pleeeeeaaaaaaaaasssssseeeee help me.

Here is the best way to get them. First download Winamp.
www.winamp.com

Install that and then go here:
www.shoutcast.com

Find channels you like and as you find them bookmark them in WinAmp.

When you get a few all you do is edit the bookmarks to see the URL's and plug them into your land

))

Easy as that!

I am sure there are more simple ways but this is how I do it.

Hi,as far as i know you dont need winamp. just save the southcast file to your PC,then open the southcast playlist with editor, then copy and paste the url into your media section in the about land tab.

for example: after opening it with editor i get some like this:

If you're using the Shoutcast/Winamp method...

Alt 3 brings up the file info tab, simply copy the numeric URL and put that in your SL media settings, and there you go - as long as it's an MP3 format, for some reason AAC+ doesnt work in SL.

You can play your own music on your land yes, using the shoutcast/winamp method mentioned, but you will NOT be able to hear it yourself on your land, others will, you wont.

The shoutcast sever window will tell you when a person has connected to it

This is assuming you are broadcasting the music from the same internet connection you are using to play SL, it also badly effects your connection when a few people are listening, most people use a DSL connection for SL and although those have very fast download speeds, the upload speed is drastically lower and thats the one you are using when broadcasting music.

Alt 3 brings up the file info tab, simply copy the numeric URL and put that in your SL media settings, and there you go - as long as it's an MP3 format, for some reason AAC+ doesnt work in SL. The shoutcast sever window will tell you when a person has connected to it This is assuming you are broadcasting the music from the same internet connection you are using to play SL, it also badly effects your connection when a few people are listening, most people use a DSL connection for SL and although those have very fast download speeds, the upload speed is drastically lower and thats the one you are using when broadcasting music.
