Just curious if there was a way I can find out what scripts are running on my mainland sim?

What an awesome feature on Islands to locate what script is using a large quantity of resources.

Thanks

The Scan-Foo Scanner can locate all scripts operating within 100 meter radius of you, That is one of several Scanners available for Various priceing levels from Free to Astronomical. Most expensive doesn't always mean most Effective, So look for a reasonably priced one and it should show you not only What is running, but Where it is.

Unless you're a Linden, I don't think there's an automated way to find out what *scripts* are running on a mainland sim.

A script could tell you what *scripted objects* are running in the sim but I don't think a script can look at another object's inventory..

I have a Scan Foo scanner. It can only list the first 16 or so 'hits' nearest to you, based on whatever you are searching for. So if you are searching for Scripted Objects in the middle of a store full of vendors, you will likely max out the list before you get to the walls of the store, let alone the whole sim. And it also counts in that limit those "misses" that it filters out. So if I am looking for "Scripted Objects, owned by me", in the middle of TRU, with over 4000 texture vendors lining the walls? I could be standing right in front of a wall that has one of my scripted vendors at the top, and not get a reading because 16 other scripted objects are closer, but not mine.

On private islands, the owner and their Estate Managers can get lists of the top most active scripts, as part of the debug features. That means the ones consuming the most system resources. Handy for locating some run-amok scripted griefer object that is lagging the whole sim. But that is not possible on the Mainland for anyone but a Linden.
