A friend of mine just rented a skybox. All the rental skyboxes are hooked into the same music stream, so they all have to listen to the same thing. I know nothing about stuff like jukeboxes....is there a way my friend can have something that would allow him to have his own access to different music? Thanks!

As far as I know, the music is completely based upon the "parcel". If more than one skybox are on the same parcel, then they will always share music. Talk to the landlord about this.

OK, yes, that is what the rental instructions say. I was wondering if it's possible for him to access music separately. I guess not. Bleh....he's stuck with elevator music. But then it wouldn't be fair to ask all the other tenants to listen to his music...

He can change the music to suit himself and others can change it to suit themselves. The chances of more than one person wanting their own choice at any particular time are small because skyboxes are not occupied most of the time, and even when they are occupied, each person doesn't automatically change the music when they arrive.

OK. That makes sense. I don't think he can change it himself, though...I think he has to ask the landlord.

It's common to allow tenants to change it (with a radio), but it's best to ask the landlord about radios before getting one.

There are ways around the parcel media stream issue, Qie is extremely knowledgeable about this. Someone told me before it's more hassle than it's worth but it can be done.
