Moving... Put a lot of work in to modifying my house. Can I save it?

I purchased a nice house, but it was prim heavy. I was able to knock off about 250 prims. And I've done tons of other things to it, textures throughout...new walls and doors. now I’m about to sell my property and move to a bigger one. Is there a way for me to save this house in its modified condition and put it on the new land without having to re rez the unmodified home and doing all the modifications again?
Thanks

Right click the house, choose Take, and it will go into your inventory as it is.

Right-click, and select "Take"

You might want to link some parts together if you haven't done so already. You can also group-select multiple objects, by holding down "shift" while selecting things.

P.S. Make sure to turn on "Tools > Select only my objects" to avoid selecting your neighbors trees, houses, prims, or whatever might be nearby that isn't yours.

also the last prim (or prim set) you s elect is the name that will be reflected in your inventory.
What I usually do in situations like that is rez a cube (in the doorway or something) and name it unlinked house blah blah, etc, then s elect everything leaving the cube for last, then take copy, then go somewhere and rez the "copy" from inventory while in edit mode, to make sure I have everything (of course if you have s elected anything that is no copy, taking copy won't work), once I know I have everything I want, I then delete the old copy, and rez the "copy" from my inventory to where ever I want to place it.

One other thing. The last server code release added a limit of 1000 prims on any "Take", "Take Copy" or "Delete". So if your house is more than 1000 prims, you'll have to save it in sections of 1000 or fewer prims each.

If your furniture is copiable, just select it with the house and take a copy of it as part of the cluster. Then, when you rez the house again, it will appear in the correct postions.

Re the house itself , if you haven't done so already, it's advisable to link it into a single object or if there are too many prims, as few sections as possible. That's advisable even when you intend to select/take copy of the whole thing as a cluster.

One thing you should do before you take it, especially if it's unlinked or in sections, is move it slightly while you have it all selected. Up, down, to one side or another, doesn't matter. It just means you'll see whether you've missed a bit, because it's going to be a pain to re-align the odd wall, floor section or door in the new location if you *have* missed it out of the main linked build.

If you find you have missed a bit when you move the house, hit CTRL+Z to move it back to its exact original position, add the extra bits (make sure to use Rha's suggestion about the new named prim as your root prim; that should always be last selected) and then once it's all moving together, select Take.

I'd pick up the furniture first but if you don't, it will be in mid-air. It will just be harder to find some of the small pieces, maybe.

Long as the house is linked (not in pieces) it should save as-is. Since you can modify it, maybe rename the house to 'updated house' or something so you re-rez the correct one.

Do not set all your items to return - if they are 'no transfer' you will lose them. Pick it all up by hand instead, to be on the safer side.
