Ok, I know this subject has probably been posted multiple times, but I'm curious as to what the current state of this is. I am fairly new.

Is there still an issue with SL itself? Or is all of this on my end?

I have a perfectly good machine, (works with NO PROBLEMS in ANY other MMO or application) and have done everything on my end to prevent, or at least minimize this from happening yet it still persists, and it is getting REALLY annoying.

I have been using the nicholaz viewer as well and may have noticed a bit of a reduction, but it is still happening quite often, enough to make me upset enough to try and seek help here.

Is there anything else I can do? (and no I don't want to quit) or are there many suffering from this?

I still crash frequently on TP if I was in a spot for a long time, especially if I was camming around a lot there. I use the Nicholaz viewer for the Official Release (1.18.5.3), the Release Candidate (1.18.6.4) and the Windlight viewer (1.18.6.76886). Not sure that I've really noticed any difference on that issue between the viewers.

Well, if there is something contributing from LL's side of things, i would hope they will address it at some point...
