I am having a bit of an issue, when I use some pose balls, naked.. (cough) there are these odd black lines (some are really thick) on my avatars skin, a friend of mine also said she has this happen to her.. What is causing this??

It means your pose ball is infected with the flu. You just need a SL flu shot and you will be fine.

There's, uh, probably a lot of things you didn't know about lindens. Another, another interesting, uh, lindenism, uh, there are only three jobs available to a linden. Very unsexy LOL Also this happens when I use plain old cuddle balls, if Im naked... It goes away if I put on undies or a bra... strange! Is this really what is going on? Also this seems to only happen on my own land! |

What version of SL are you running? What Operating System? This was a known bug in the Linux version of SL. To get rid of it, Linux users have to download the Nicholaz Linux viewer.
http://nicholaz-beresford.blogspot.com/ Is Nicholaz' site. You might try downloading his version, although you might have to be running LL's version 1.18.3.5 I think. _____________________

I get this at times when switching between Full Screen and Windowed Mode, depending on what resolution I'm using at the time. Windows XP(SP2) as an OS.
I have not experianced this since I got my new monitor. Acer 19" widescreen, 1440 resolution. I also use a GeForce 6800 vid card, with updated drivers. I summited this as a bug several months ago *Shrugs* Not that I expect that will do anything, but at least LL knows about it (or would if they read the bug reports). I have noticed that I never have this bug if I stay in Fullscreen, though the only way I know to fix it is to relog. ~Jessy _____________________

Or running 2 instances of SL? That can cause it as well. |

It only does it if the avatar has remove all clothes. if it wears a clear shirt it seems to skin fine. It is very strange.
I wonder if I submitted a vista realted issue it would get looked at. Been told and read they do not support Vista, am I SOL? Forced to wear an undershirt while naked.. ?? |
