Nine of out ten times I do a limited buy order from sl and it always some frigging delay.

Yesterday I put one in at 7/24/09 at 17:36:41. I get up this morning it's not filled. NOTHING I cancelled, put in another order this morning at 17:36:41 and it is still not filled. What gives?

I don't do a market buy because I will receive less LL. Ugh!!!! I hate buying lindens :( They should make the process simplier.

Canceling your order and resubmitting it is only going to delay it some more.

At what price did you place your order? There's currently L$62M in buy orders waiting to be filled at 269. Daily volume runs between L$70M and L$90M, so at a minimum you should expect the better part of a day to be filled. However a very good percentage of that volume is at rates worse than 269, so in reality it can take several days for it to be filled.

If you're in a rush, you'll need to give up one L$/USD. If you place an order at 268, it will be filled much more quickly.

I posted it at 269. It is enough surplus.

Try Xstreet - even though LL now owns them, I seem to get my transactions much faster there. I've been buying L$ for roughly 273-274 lately and the longest fill time was maybe 6 hours, but mostly in less than 2 hours.

I know the feeling, OP, I cashed in 4 days ago, and still not in my Paypal account. I knew better, I usually use Xstreet, which is immediate. Taught me a lesson, wont use LL again.

Basically if you have the US dollars in your account and you play the market right, buying at a certain price will get your more Linden dollars for your buck.
