Who are the 'friendly' Lindens, do they have any staff used for customer "PR"?

Maybe a bit odd, but aside from inviting the whole of the Linden family, which maybe seen as totally rude, I mean inviting the governer may seem like a good idea, but in reality he is a CEO and probably not that interested. Oh yes, invited to what, myself and three other business partners have been working on a pretty crazy build for the past six months.

In my opinion it pushed the envelope on what can even be done in Secondlife. It's not 100% done yet, still a bit more testing to be done, a few components are still half sculpted, that sort.

But it is a huge, 80m x 60m 'dark ride', thrill ride, indoor rollercoaster, that sort, based on Alice in Wonderland, which is public domain btw. Anyway this build uses animatronics, localozed light, sound, animations, particles, amazing sculpted characters from the book, it's huge, and I am hugely proud of it.

And the opening weekend is still a week away, or so, no quoting me here. And I want to drop a few Lindens the landmark/note about the ride. I am not expecting them to come to the opening, maybe drop by on their free time. I just really think this is something that they need to see. Believe it or not this was destined for the annual anniversary, started this build back in April. Took a huge amount of time from all of us, way more work then I ever imagined.

And yes, you can come see too, lol

OMG Atom, You and your partners ought to be proud--I have never experienced something as good as this in SL....Thank you!!!! It was so much fun, the visual and audio effects were great and the ending magnificent.

Brought back a lot of nice childhood memories, also :)

The Gov is a shell account - could be anyone, really. Look to the community team f'r folks to invite. :-)

(You do such awesome stuff, Atom!)

thanks for the kind words. I figured the governer was just a catch all for the Lindens. But when I imagine LLabs I picture a multi tiered sort of office space. With a bunch of CEO investment types and the crazed artists working under them. So I of course want the crazy artists to come, lol

The funny thing? Most of the folks at the top seem to be the crazy artist types, while beneath them are a bunch of code heads (an other sorts). The investment types are more on the board than anything else.

WOW, WOW, WOW!!

Just came back from the ride - TOTALLY AMAZING!!

I was one of the first residents (as an alt) when you built Galveston Island and always loved the amusement park there. As someone who loves amusement parks, theme parks and rides in RL, thank you for creating this type of content in SL to enjoy. :)
