I referred a friend a while back who opened a basic account. He's going to upgrade to a premium and wanted to make sure I got credit for referring him originally. The web page wasn't clear if it will be automatic since I referred him in the past, or does he have to do something else now as well. He deleted the original email he received when I referred him.

Im not absolutely certain, but I seem to recall the web site asking me for a referral when I upgraded.

My original referral had a link, and when my friend upgraded last night, they didn't ask him for anything. It did say on the website that LL does keep track of these things, so we'll see what happens in the future. |

I referred someone who signedup for premium and I got the bonus automatically. You get 3 installments as I recall. Some at the time (or close) of sign up, the next bit after a month of them being premium and then the final one a month after that.
Was about L$2500 as I recall but my details may be a little fuzzy now so don't shoot me if I am wrong. lol.

I'm 500L richer tonight! It says I received 500L for the referral, and my friend signed up less than 24 hours ago. That was fast. I should be getting more in the future, a little more after two of his billing periods.
He'd been waffling on whether or not to upgrade but when he heard that the Lindens were cracking down on adfarms, he decided to make the upgrade because he wants to own land. I even promised to help pay for land if he bought something near me. The Alaskan lawn art business is doing great lately.
