kind of a silly question, but a few friends and I were thinking about driving some motorcycles last night but couldn't think of anywhere to go. Our favorite sim is a bit hilly and the roads I can think of are in protected land without build enabled. So got me thinking are there any places to drive the vehicles we buy or they all for show? Can someone suggest some groups who have land or some public land who has a sim, or many sims, that a person can drive and maybee have some nice scenery to look at the same time.

Search the places tab for rezzing or rezzing area, these will give you spots to get things going onto those no-build public roads.

A popular track i've been to is called Misp, in the sim by the same name (Misp). You have to join the group to rez, but It's free to join, at least last time I went. Nice racing track with several twisty, banked turns. There is also another place I heard about called MyControl Speedway, but have never been there.

You can always run about the vehicle sims.
Also, yesterday I found the road from Rodeo (well, below Rodeo: there's a rezzing area at the end og the road near the "Spook House"  , through the snowlands, and up to Linden Village (and a bit beyond) to be a run trip in my "space bus."Mari _____________________

You can drive around Sim City, Lots of roads.
Click Maps, Type: Shopping Click the SHOPPING Region and you can rez your vehicle there. _____________________

Nissan, Pontiac, Mercedes Benz, and Scion all have lots of open road, I believe. I've only driven on Nissan and Pontiac's sims. Beware sim crossings, of course, but they are nice tracks.

Stratos is a big, empty sim that was built as a racetrack for Italian sportscars.
tracks spiral around a mountain, go underwater and end up in a standard lap course. it's also havoc4 enabled, if that makes a difference. |
