Hi All  I used to be able to log my main account & alt in together on my PC by adding -multiple to the end of Traget line in SL properites on my desktop. Just tried to do that today & it doesn't seem to work on either Windlight or the normal viewer. Obviously I can log one out & the other in, but I'm trying to test out a new item I made & that's a pain. Can anyone offer any suggestions please? I am using Vista if that's of any relevance. Thanks |

ive just spent 2 frustrating hours in world with both my main and and alt, using that multiple method.
im using the dale glass client, but that shouldnt make any difference.

Hmm, it is working for me with the Candidate Viewer on Windows XP. Has it ever worked for you before using Vista? The window should look like this...  Do you have any extra spaces anywhere or anything? |

Hi thanks for the replies. It used to work fine for me pre-vista. I'm fairly certain I have the line entered as you do Gaybot, though it looks as though you have more than a single space before the -multiple?
I thought it may be a vista issue (as in generic) but my friend runs vista & it works fine for her. Am guessing it's something in my settings somewhere, but don't know my way around vista well enough yet to figure out where grrr.

Yes, there are two spaces inbetween " and -
for XP
I always just highlight the word multiple to change it and not the - so I don't accidentally change any spacing
EDIT: ah, excellent! happy multiple logging!

If you are trying multiple versions of SL, you would need to make the change to each different shortcut that you use.
What is that happens when you try to start the second instance of SL?
