;0 in the never-ending quest to keep apprised of the different languages that people use, my little multi-lingual module i'd coded alerts me if it could not recognize an encountered language... some of the open-source modded viewers out there instead give their own custom 'language' setting, including 'multiple'. however i find today a message from last night:
The object 'Prizerino Centaur' has sent you a message from Second Life:
Unknown language found... 'multple'.
lol anyone know which one that is?? ;0

"-multiple" is the command you enter into the windows shortcut "target", to allow you to run multiple instances of the SL client at the same time.
That same field contains the "--set InstallLanguage en" command, which would translate to the client as the preferred language. Clearly, the user has misconfigured something, and has probably forgotten a space. _____________________

no misconfiguration required... multiple is reported if the OS language setting is "multiple" and the the viewer is set to "use system default language"

I think the misspelled "multple" is more likely a typo on the command line.
