When you initally load Secondlife, at the main screen where you click Log In, there are pictures shown of places in SL.

Is there a way of finding these places shown?

Better yet, is there a way of turning them off?

I find the inconsistency disconcerting, and the colors on many of them garish. I'd much prefer having just the single stock photo. Or just identify a fixed source directory, and let me populate that directory with one or more pictures of my own choosing.

Currently, though, these seems a non-issue, as SL has been starting up with a black background for me.

Not only find them, but perhaps select one you like and keep it. I rather like the railyard one and wish I could keep that one up. Considering how often I have to restart SL, I get to look at the picture a LOT so choosing one would be nice.

I have a sneaking suspicion I know where that railyard one was taken. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Mole Island 4
