Anyone who wants to know if you are online can do this, and there really isn't any way to hide it.

Anyone who wants to know where you are can do this too, but it takes a little more effort (the information is there, but can't really get at all of it with in-world tools). There really isn't any way to prevent this either.

i remove them from my friends list and only show friends on my list i log on or i just uncheck them in that spot on the friends list that doesn't let them see you come on..

if they get pesty after that i just warn them they are messing with the wrong bitch ;)

hiding id

hi yeh the other guys are right. To keep one particular pest quiet I just deleted them from friends list (this automatically drops u from theirs) mute them on profile, or right click if close enough in person if u like. If and when you bump into them, as you invariably will, as there are ways to find you if they are tenacious enough, they are just shapeless grey figures and you can't see what they are wearing, or saying in local chat or IM. I think I do have an anti-push object somewhere in my inventory, as muted people can push you around to get attention. Do not allow to let them see where u r in-world and do not allow show on your profile picks in searches.
If it all becomes too much, and you have tried your best to ignore them, then either keep away from them or submit a ticket for harrasment (giving them fair warning of your intentions), keep evidence of problems and screenshot pics, records and statements etc. from friends as necessary.

However I reckon once they become shapeless grey blobs they are just another pixelated shape and not really worthy of your attention.

Still a problem? give me a call and I'll send the boys round to stick a bat up his nightdress

What iv'e done is remove my name and remove the person in question from friend list.

Which make it now awkward for my good friends if there online i have to contact them but i think will stop my pest.

And thank you all for the replies back.

I have had someone hastling me a bit, if I mute the will they still show as online to me via the website dashboard? I usual check to see who's online before I log in so I don't bump in to this person..

Thanks for your reply in advance :)
