"Object shout of 'Not permitted to edit this!' is being used for harassment/grief"
pJIRA: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6651
Folks,
Some areas never see organized grief (I'm happy for you if so) - others get it multiple times per day. FYI, there's a new, systematic exploit of a long-extant LSL 'feature' that is being used to harass...
If you're running a social area, you may run into this at some point... synopsis:
Under some circumstances (one of which is described here: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LSL_llAllowInventoryDrop) objects can be coerced into shouting:
<object name> shouts: Not permitted to edit this!
Regardless of whether this particular LSL feature is the actual one used for the exploit, the effect is that the "Not permitted to edit this!" message is now being used as the 'latest' method of chatspam/flooding areas as a means of harassment/grief.

If the issue affects you, please feel free to inspect (and perhaps vote on) the pJIRA entry above.
Just a heads up... be well, everyone
