250L$ sign up bonus

Is this active? , I never received mine. & have bought Lindens so I have provided and used payment info ...

I know its only pennies/cents but if it says I should get it . I want it .

I'm not sure if the 45 days applies to first free account or Premium .

Did you sign up for a Premium account? From the page,

"Premium signup bonus is granted to new registrations only. You will receive your signup bonus 45 days after the signup date, assuming your credit card has been accepted."

if you started as a free player and then signed up later you won't get it, however, I have heard that if you go premium very quickly after signing up, you can contact SL and they may give you the bonus, but don't know how true this is.

$L250 is all they give now? I get more than that in my sitpend each week.

Yeah, I was supposed to get $L1500 bonus for premium, never happened. Later I was told it was only 1000$L. I have been premium for over 3 months. I filed a ticket on day 45, on day 46 they said I would get paid on day 48 and they closed the ticket. Never got paid. Filed a second ticket. I gave up and closed the ticket yesterday. I do get my $L300 each week as promised.

Linden Labs should make the bonus $L1,000,000 since they don't intend to pay it anyway.

I havnt signed up for premium yet, but am/was thinking about it . Maybe I'll just buy land on private estates and save the premium fees. But from what I see thats a minefield in itself ...

Also when i first checked the premium bonus , I also recall seeing 1500L$ ,

I think I will have to rethink the whole premium/ vs non premium...
Any advice or thoughts ?

Was $L1500 with $400/week a while back, not really worth signing up for premium anymore from the sounds of it unless you want to buy land.

If you decide to go premium, create a new AVI. I went premium the day after I signed up and that is the reason people here give me for not getting the bonus. You may want to consider renting land instead of buying it if that is your goal.

If you buy an annual membership and deduct the stipend @ 300L/wk for a year, Premium ends up costing about $10-14 annually, depending on whether you get the bonus or not. That's less than one month's fee for World of Warcraft. It's worth it to me.

I'm already swaying toward renting land, I've been nosing about for a couple of days now and theres a couple of prices that would suit me out there .At least it will give me an idea of what I really want to do without the added cost of the subs.
only a few days until I see if I get my meager 250L$ . but at least 250L$ will be a third towards a weeks land rental

I got it ....wait a few days get or not get my 250$, create my trainee builder one. ( I wouldn't do anything BUT the annual sub, because of the saving.) Buy a 512m with no tiers, and pay my main the 300pw to build and maintain a nice house.. I dunno I'm really confused now . One thing is for sure I'm here to stay and I'm fed up of renting tiny little skyboxes ....
