Hi all
Was wondering if someone could help me with this. What is the best way to set permissions to sell cards? Of course you want the buyer to be able to give away, so should it just be left at that? But then couldn't someone sell on what you have created? I've seen some places set selling the 'original' but I don't quite get how that works since once one is sold it's not there for anyone else to buy - do you have to put a number of cards inside a 'container' card/
Oh the confusing world of permissions and selling!

No copy/No mod/Transfer...I'm thinking anyway.
It has to be transfer to give it away. If they resell it, not much you can do about that.

It is okay! Yes with no copy and transfer someone can pass the card along even for money but if they want to sell it again they have to buy another one from you. But most people aren't tacky enough to sell cards they were given so is this really really really going to be something to worry about too much?

i would sell it mod/transfer then
mod so they can change the name of it or give it a tint or make it bigger and transfer so they can give it away
i know some will say no mod but if its no mod and say you named it love card 1 its frustrating sending something to someone titled that way i like to change the names of cards and flowers i send as gifts so its a surprise what they are getting

Another thought ... I was in a store and their merchandise is transfer but if you rez it in world, then it become no-trans and yes-mod (or something ... I didn't buy objects from them so I don't know).
Anyway ... if there are permission changing scripts out there (which is what I think this is), then you may be able to let the original buyer gift it to someone and then when that person rezzes it, it can go no-trans via script.
