just add a space and the word after ".exe" like this:

if -multiple doesn't work
use --multiple at the end (with a space before the --) It seems to require the two dashes in some cases (mine requires the 2 dashes) _____________________

other fun things to use
http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Client_parameters I personally use secondlife.exe -multiple -noprobe -login <firstname> <lastname> <password> -url <SLURL> and for those that have inventory issues and must constant clear cache there's -purge -url lets me log into the destination of my choice like secondlife://Ahern//128/128 (ok I really wouldn't log there, but it's good to know if your previous location crashes and it won't bounce you to a new sim on relog -login allows you to skip the login screen, but shouldn't be used if you are on a shared desktop, since your screen name and password will be available to anyone that checks the shortcut. -noprobe to turn off the annoying recheck of your vid card every start, especiall if, like me, you have a card they don't have an entry for (guess they haven't added the GTX2xx series yet) _____________________

I like -noinvlib
It prevents the library from loading, which makes inventory searches faster and more relevant. _____________________
