I was curious what if any command line switches are available i.e. c:\program files\second life\secondlife.exe -force simple mode -particles off
Stuff that would simplify the interface to the max for slower machies.

See https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Client_parameters for the list. Not sure much there to help with performance, but the "-set" option looks promising.

-simple has a question mark, does that force simple mode?
I never knew you could use -multiple to allow multiple viewers *evil grin* I saw -set <variable> <value> but when I clicked to view the variables it said it was restricted? _____________________

I saw -set <variable> <value> but when I clicked to view the variables it said it was restricted? That is because the page doesn't exist and therefor it is trying to take you to the edit page so you can write it. To edit you need to be logged in or else you just get the "restricted" error. Doesn't help but at least you know why now. ![]() - _____________________
