No sound when SecondLife is running

My sound is working fine. I start SL and all sound stops. ANything I do in SL produces no sound. I have checked the settings and they all seem to be on and set correctly.

Any help would be appreciated.

We'll need a little more information to resolve this.

Sound card?
Drivers?
Viewer version?

Thanks for the tip. I downloaded new driver for the sound acrd and SL now has sound.
