Stuck in my undies!

Not that I'm trying to be completely naked in public but I'm stuck in that newbie white tank top and undies when I try to put a dress on. It looks so tacky and I am embarassed to even try to walk around. I'm new don't have even one friend yet so if anyone has any pointers or wants to meet up in game please look me up. I need some tips and even someone to show me around a bit. =) Oh and a solve to this problem would be nice. I tried taking everything off one at a time and then detatch all as well. Nothing works. Hmm.... tried different skins too.

Edited: Oh and I did do a search just nothing on this subject came up for me if there is a post on this I'm very sorry. Just direct me and I'll fly to it. Been days on SL trying to figure it out and then searched here... Nothing seems to fix.

hahaha long time ago since then... only played for a bit and quit... never did much of anything got the old account back that's why it says 2005. still a newb in a old body I guess lol

Sometimes if the place that you're in is super busy, you might have problems getting dressed. I did a fashion show that was a nightmare; the sim lagged so hard that none of the models could change clothes, and no attachments would rez. We had to teleport the models to a lag free sim just so they could change clothes, then quick pop them back to the catwalk. You might try teleporting to a lag free sim. I know that Son is always lag-free; to get there, click on your map button (lower right of screen) then type in "Son" in the region field. Push the teleport button, and you'll end up there.

To change clothes, you can open your inventory, then just drag an item from the inventory to your avatar. Or, you can right-click on the item in the inventory, and choose "wear" from the menu. You can only wear one of each type of clothing at a time; one undershirt, one skirt, one shirt, etc. Same goes for skins and shapes.

Actually, if none of the offered suggestions work, I do recall one 'bug' that left many of us in the perm baked on ''whitey-tighties," as though we were on the teen grid. This might be a leftover of it.

1. Type Worn into the inventory search box.
2. Remove all the worn clothing in a lag-free zone.
3. Change skins if 2 fails.
4. If that fails, try to clear the cache from the perferences/network menu and restart the client.

And also, make sure you aren't on the teen grid by mistake

You're not.... because you talked to me. (which isn't possible from the teen grid)

you are on the adult grid list so i assume you are there

soudns like you are stick in pg mode

bring up the debug options (ctrl+alt+d)

it will add debug and client to the top of the lviewer

then under client go to character then character test and toggle pg

i tested it fully clothed and after i toggled wouldnt let me take off underwear but when i toggled it again i could
