I have and Eyebrow-Shaper and a set of eyes on my avatar now; how do I unwear these?
If I right-click on them in Worn Items, there is no "unwear" or "detach" item. The menu item "Wear" appears, but these are already worn.... ????
Also it appears I am wearing two skins or some such nonsense...
Help!

Help! The only way to take off skin and eyes is to wear a different skin or eyes. The eyebrow shaper is similar to skin.

Assuming the "eyebrow shaper" indeed shapes eyebrows, it's actually system hair (most likely a "bald cap" that doesn't really show hair), which probably came with prim hair. As Eli said, these particular system things aren't removed but are instead replaced, so just search Inventory for "Bald" and wear that. It's best to choose one that's modifiable so if it's not to your liking you can go into Edit / Appearance / Hair and just adjust it until it's the way you want it, save it somewhere you can find it again, and remember not to wear a different bald cap thing when you change prim hair. (I know it's absurd, but I found an existence proof: there are actually creators who distribute no-mod bald caps. )

Several items work this way...they can't be taken off, only replaced by another item of the same type. This is because these items define your appearance. Without them, you would be...nothing. So you must always have one of each of these things:
Shape Skin System hair (bald cap, eyebrow shaper) Eyes

It makes sense if you think about it... if we were able to take of our skin without wearing a new one... all our inside junk would fall out on the floor. Also... if you were able to remove your eyes, how would you be able to see to put new ones on?

*Sighs*
Someone gave me the eyebrow shaper the other day, I did not have one before, and now can't get it off.

Go into Appearance mode. Select "Make new hair". Set all the sliders to zero. Save the new hair with a different name.

Skins, eyes, and shapes cannot be unworn, only replaced with another. I have no clue what an eyebrow shaper is though.

From: Johan Laurasia I have no clue what an eyebrow shaper is though. When people make a bald cap they also often make the eyebrows a certain shape. Some people mainly make a bald cap in order to give the brows a new shape - when worn it will alter the facial features a bit. Some skins look better or worse depending on the brow shape. So in other words, a bald cap is also a brow shaper.
