Come on people distract insomniacs like me - pitch in 'cause i have an LM to a suicide booth i have been curious about for years and years...

So requisite question....

What SL derivative content do you read?

Blogs- Lists , what have you....
Just laid down some big RL $'s on adverts (big being relative but still..) and want to know who is watching...

I avoid places with adverts, and adverts themselves. Of course I switch sigs off here.

I'm up to get my travelling started - right now it looks like no one else is.
It's not so glamorous at 4.15 am to settle down to emails first and then schedule departure for 5.15. Just time for my breakfast.
Over and out on a cold morning.
I can't even remember where I am exactly...
Jig.

This forum, SLU sometimes, and I've sometimes got my nose stuck in some LSL code inworld. Other than that, not much else.

Bit worried about LM reference on first line.
If you feel need for contact at unearthly hour try my profile and see if I'm up. Or friend me when I get a computer for myself again.I do much real travel and my life is not so 9 to 5 as most people. I may be up and I'll chat with you. I have been on sl in airports and buses and trains and limos and all manner of places. And I dont sleep like most people do.
IM me if your lonely. I'm good for a chat.
Jiggy.

Sometimes SL just doesn't deliver. Then it's time to move on to other pursuits temporarily. I am in a couple of music and art forums unrelated to SL that keep me sane.

Well, actually lately I haven't had time or energy for them either with the holidays and family visiting and work overload. I hope to finally be able to get in world sometime this weekend which is nearly over now.

Sleep is good too if you can manage it. I usually try to read an actual book. That puts me to sleep almost immediately.

[Edit: Suicide booths don't do much of anything, folks. They are just the ultimate expression of boredom.]

BBC has a brill foodie forum although it can be a bit clicky) but I think it shuts down at certain times of day.
I also listen to teh radio - again bbc.co.uk and sellect radio 4 which is the finest radio station in the world and has gigantic quantities of archived materials. The bbc news is also best in the world despite what some might say (they're just envious)
And bbc 7 for comedy and drama.

Yeah, I just try to read "Snowcrash". Works every time. :p

But I agree, when I get bored with SL at any given time, I'll maybe do some light surfing/shopping or just step away from the computer and find something else to do.

A shot of vodka also works. But then, you end up like me... Hmm... whenever I cant sleep I just think of the millions and billions of people who are waking up to get started again. Then I crash out.

Schmaltzy tv always cheers me up. Or tv shows with lots of animals in them. Schmaltzy animal shows are a good one.

Sometimes it's just finding that one silly thing that cheers us up; doesn't matter what it is. Not knowing you Amar I can't say what that would be for you. :/
