What do you do when a major vendor refuses to answer complaints about products not being delivered? It has been over 2 weeks and I have yet gotten an answer from any of the several people I contacted. Who is ultimately responsible if anybody??

I finally gave up on a major vendor after giving IM's and note cards copying my transaction history. It was an expensive cool gadget, but after a year or so of being ignored I have finally determined I can do without it just fine.

This doesn't solve your problem, but it's what I did.

You start a thread here, and then it turns into a huge debate. Just don't name the vendor. That's against TOS. The Lindens won't get involved in resident-to-resident disputes, so don't try complaining to them.

same here, I just simply gave up.
there is no where to turn, if someone fails to deliver the goods and ignore requests to deliver the goods, then you are (sadly) SOL.

sorry

I would name the vendor concerned on a number of third-party forums and my own Journal, speaking personally. (Well, actually I do not buy an awful lot of stuff anyway. But were I to, I would.)

This often happens at Sine Wave. Last time it did, it took about 2 weeks to get the 2-3 dances i had purchased replaced, but they did come around.

Hang in there.

Also, when it is a place as big as SW with unique wares that cannot be found elsewhere in SL, then i bite the bullet and keep on shopping, but will be a bit more jaded about them.

It is the price you have to pay to look good getting your groove on.
