Seeing this the same time I saw the "Philip to step down" announcement was a bit... ah...

I realize this is more than a month old, but it was the first I'd seen of it.

NOTHING can be that bad. Not surprising. Didn't IBM basically sell themselves to China?

They resold China's Thinkpad.

Did they want to sell it again, an hour later?

There's a story on what Hipihi means at http://www.youhaventlived.com/qblog/2007/QBlog270807A.html .

For more information on Hipihi, see the Overseas Zone forums at forums.hipihi.com, ask in the Hipihi forum at www.ideashape.cn, or join the Hipihi facebook group at http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=4407488329.

The name Hipihi is supposed to be pronounced more like Happy Hi than Hippy High. I pronounce it Hippy High most of the time. I'd read it too many times to change the way I was already pronouncing it.

Hipihi is supposed to be capitlized as HiPiHi. To heck with that,;typographic idiosyncrasies in company names are a bad idea. CamelCase is fine in it's place. Things I have to type very often is not one of them. Typing the name of one of the Scripters of Second Life group owners, SiRiS, is a sufficient amount of non-programming related camelcase to last a lifetime.
