q;
Someone gave me a notecard that included hyperlinks to a location, and a profile, as well as a pic. I tried to do this (make my own notecards) but cannot get my links to turn blue... rightclicking on the link ...the "about URL" button did nothing for me..
How do I include a clickable teleport location on a notecard?
How do I include a clickable link to a profile on a Notecard?
How do I include a picture on a note card?
How do I format a :///app/teleport/Region/xx/xx/xx link on a notecard?
basically I am looking for the formats to create links, also alternate text.
I am looking for information on this but can't seem to find a clear answer on the support site.
Thank you very much.

Drag the LM from your inventory onto the notecard.

What ever you want in your notecard.....picture or landmark....just drag it from your inventory into the notecard. I'm not sure about dropping a calling card into a notecard....haven't tried that yet. But it's easy enough to just put the contact name into the notecard. Folks can easily find the person in search if need be. Any notecard I've ever received has had a contact name (not to mention if you left click and choose properties on a notecard while it's in your inventory, it's going to show creator....which will also allow people to click on that profile)

From: VonGklugelstein Alter also.. assume that I do not have a Landmark to drop in.. If you don't have a landmark, you can try finding the location in search then show it on the map. Once the location is shown on the map you can copy a SLURL to your clipboard and subsequently to your notecard.

To create a notecard with texture/pictures and Landmarks, you need to first have these in your inventory. If you have been given a landmark in a notecard, drag the landmark from the notecard to your inventory to store it. Alternatively visit the place, click world, create landmark here. Also you can use the SLURL as Sally has explained above. Once you have the landmark, click in the notecard so the typing icon thing is in the right place (not necessary but is a good thing to do if you have a huge notecard, it keeps auto scrolling to where this cursor is). Once you have done this, click and drag the landmark from your inventory to the correct place in the notecard. You can click and drag textures and/or photos in the same way. I am not sure about links to profiles, as I have never created one but normal web addresses i just type in. e.g. . http://forums.secondlife.com. I am not sure if this auto links or not though. Always remember to save and close the window before you give it to anyone or put it in anything. It may be an idea to save, close, reopen and test that the landmarks etc are clickable. Don't forget to rename when it is in you inventory or you will end up with a million called 'new note'. I learnt all of this the hard way lol. Also be careful of how much work you do between saves. I kept losing lots of work when the servers decided they didn't like my work Hope it helps
