I realize I have another thread going on this topic, but I really want to try and track down more "deals" (i.e. freebie or near freebie) for New Residents for my New Resident Kit. The next version has some major updates and I'd love for any major vendors who provide items for New Residents to respond to this thread -- or anyone who knows of such.

New Resident freebies or a kit of decent freebies is a good way to drive traffic to your store. While I don't pack freebies in my kit, I will provide you with traffic. So let me know if you have such so I can add it to my list. Thanks.

For example, here is my notecard on the Quick and Dirty of de-newbifying yourself (where there are ?, that is where the Landmark is):

INTRODUCTION

Whether you are a new resident or an Alt Avatar, this list will assist you in acquiring all you need to "de-newbify" your avatar as quickly as possible. You will need L$20 or so to purchase demo items or L$1 items. Armed with your pocket change, go forth and get gorgeous! You might as well grab as much as you can to experiment with your look. Some of these items are available only to new avatars less than 30 days old, so act before then.

Not sure if this is appropriate for your list, but here you go...

The Shelter offers free vendor space to New Residents under 90 days old that wish to sell their creations. The primary restrictions are 10 prims, and items for sale must be created by the seller, and PG in nature.

Anyone who's interested should contact Reina Quine in-world, and she can get you setup. There's a limited amount of space, but spots constantly come open as folks reach 90 days old.

Hi Lucrezia - after you have updated your New Resident Kit, please drop one in my inventory so I can put it in my shop - it' a really helpful box for newbies, with lots of useful stuff. I think adding details of the offers availble for residents under 30 days old is an excellent idea. I missed out on them as a n00b - never found out until it was too late.

Nicki Ree has some very nice free clothing - to add to your list.

Adam n Eve ( http://slurl.com/secondlife/Genesis/11/149/22 ) has a free male and female skin for residents 30 days or newer, a free voucher for any one pair of women's shoes for residents 30 days or newer, and also a free male and a free female prim hair available to anyone.
