Quick AO Question

I'm talking to a friend in-world, helping him with his AO.....and he asked if you could 'add' more poses...... initially I thought no.....you have to use as many as your default is set up for.....like if it has 5 stands....that's all you can use.....
But.....am I wrong? Can you add lines to the notecards or will it screw em up?

I think most older AOs are limited to 5 stands, but if your friend gets a ZHAO 2, he can add a lot more (not sure of the actual limit), plus also have multiple walks. Keep in mind though, that too many animations will take longer to load.

I suppose it depends entirely on what kind of AO he's using. The ZHAO II can handle more, and I think the original ZHAO can as well.

If it is a ZHAO, there have been threads in the Animation Tips forum about how to load additional animations in it (might even be a sticky thread).

ZHAO-II, yes. The original ZHAO (and others that use the Franimation notecard format), no.

Ziggy, if he has a ZHAO (not -II), can he use this trick you mentioned in the ZHAO-II thread? Or was it determined that this didn't work properly?

Maybe, but I think someone tried it and said it didn't work. It's possible it works in Wet Ikon, and I broke it in ZHAO I never actually got round to trying it myself.
