Dear all,
since today, we see a NEW bug in Second Life.
All of our Residents are sinking into the ground of the sim, or are kicked into the air...
I have already contacted the Life Support, but as usual, she could not help us. (Support?) I also opend a Ticket, to hope they come back soon.
Now I am asking you all, does any one else have this issue, or what can I do to resolve.
I already did/know:
- We restarted the Region 2 times by now - We are not using scripted shoes/pants - We have a very good Performance on the Sim
If you want to see how it feels like, visit Emsland
Any Idea? Any help? we feel a little lost, and our renters feel bad, in sinking down, even when they stand on a Prim.... some even fell out of the sky boxes.
Thanks for any Idea Randolf

Wow, this sort of sounds like Physics broke. I just wandered over various areas of Emsland and I had no trouble walking properly ON the sidewalks.

The issue does not always come up...
It takes a while until it affects....

Someone falling from a skybox reminds me of a time when sometimes every object in a sim where I had land would behave as thought they are phantom - you could go straight through buidlings. But I don't think that sinking into the land was part of the bug.
I've been in your sim for 5 minutes or more, walking around, standing still, and I find nothing wrong with it.

I think Osprey is right.
The entire map is gray.
There's a plywood prim that appears to cover the entire sim, the top of the prim is at
............
Hey, it's gone!

Thanks for any Idea Randolf Yes. The sinking isn't new. The hovering in the air is. First noticed it yesterday. So yeah I validate your post.

Hey folks, thanks for your entries... wow
I never knew, that a Megaprim would cause such a disaster... I will need to look into it, more recently....

This was happening to me also yesterday - I haven't been in SL yet today. It happened at my home at SimChanted but not when I went to other places. And it didn't happen to other people that came to my house - only to me. I tried taking off all clothing & items to see if perhaps it was an item causing it but nope. I still kept sinking into the ground or getting tossed into the air or the next floor of my house.
If it was a Megaprim wouldn't it have effected others visiting my house too?

If it happens again, look for a transparent prim too. I have known people to put down big "diving boards" to see people get launched into the air.
