I currently have three accounts all adult verified with the same email address., two were premium and one was purchased during the time you could pay a one time fee for alts.
I've tried to create a 4th account once in the past but was denied.
Would upgrading all of them to premium allow me to make another alt?
I thought it was a limit of 5 someplace.

I don't believe upgrading to premium will make any difference. Use another e-mail address to make another alt.

The problem is that Adult verification will let LL know that one person is behind all the acounts

Don't worry about it. They claim not to retain any information from the adult verification, and I have seen no evidence to the contrary.
Unless you do something very naughty with the alts, like stalk someone or use alts to get around a suspension, you don't have anything to worry about.

From: LaserFur Leonov The problem is that Adult verification will let LL know that one person is behind all the acounts They do a pretty good job of figuring out what alts are whose (or at least which accounts are coming from the same computer or household), just from usage patterns. LL claims not to receive any of the identifying details from the Aristotle form of verifications, and that seems to be true given all the games people have been playing with fake IDs and such.

Using a different email address may not work.
LL has limited my alt creating by stopping my IP address when i hit 5 alts in 2008. (My past alts from 2003-05 didn't seem to count towards the limitation).
From what i am told, using an alternate sign up portal is a way to circumvent the restriction.
