For mainland, if you are paying the 125/month tier, you additionally pay a little more for the premium account with its base 512. So that puts you just over half a region's worth of fees, right?

I pay tier at the $125/mo level. I own just a tad less than 1/2 sim of mainland. I have a Premium membership. I'm a Concierge level member...at least, I got invited to the last Linden Concierge Party.

It was fun...Leo Linden showed up and invited residents to have at him. And so they did, with knives, swords, pistols, automatic weapons, and anvils falling from the sky. It was like that scene in C.S. Lewis where Aslan gets himself slain by the witch's minions.

Hmmm, LL's documentation continues to make me sick even today.

In reality paying >= $125 for ANY reason, not just mainland tier will get you concierge. For example if you own a private island.

Here's an FYI. There's one other way to get concierge support. If you're an estate manager, you can get it as a representative of the estate owner. In that case, your own tier level won't matter.

You're only supposed to use it for the particular estate you manage, of course, so don't call up about your little 512M mainland parcel, and expect them to help you. My only point in mentioning it was just to be thorough. It's another hole in the documentation.

A little OT, but what is the Concierge group I hear about from time to time? I see people post about something happening in Concierge chat, and it seems like they might be talking about a group rather than a private support IM. Is there such a group and, if so, how do I get an invite?

Yes, called "Concierge Information Group", with the purchase of my first region I got a mail about who to contact to get a group invite.

I think that if you buy that much land all at once they automatically invite you, but if you accumulate it over time you might fall through the cracks. You can ask LL to be invited though; if you're paying at the $125 level you're entitled.
