Help, Can't delete an object

Hey,
I looked on here to see if someone has already asked this question, sorry if I missed something.

I have this object on my property that I can not delete. I can not find the source for it. It is a burning flame.

I have tried looking for beacons, and I have de-rendered just about everything. I have even been able to de-render to the point where I can isolate the flame, but then, I can not select it.

I tried to see if maybe it was a script in some nearby object, but I could not find any such script.

What can I do to return this annoying object to its owner, or to delete it? I don't want to return everything because this is group land for a group that I own, so there are lots of object owners that are legit. I can't select it to see who it belongs to!

Thanks,
BT

The flame is probably a particle, so try View / Beacons / Particle Sources and View / Beacons Always On to see if you can find the emitting prim that way. (It needn't have a script still present to continue emitting particles.)

Also, enable Highlight Invisible. The script running the particle effect may be in an invisible prim.

It did not work. I can not find the source. I have de-rendered everything but the flame. By Highlight Invisible, you mean to make it red like with cntrl/alt/T right?

Thx,
BT

Wow,
I have never had to give 'directions' to my house before, usually, I just TP someone. It is on Archers and its called Krsna's Villa. Now, I see I should have learned how to make SURL's when I saw those instructions. If you see it, you can have that flame for free!
thx

numbers Bhakta, those in the heading when you stand next to the flame, like 100,124,24 ?

Yeah, seeing that my avatar's user title is "Barefoot Babe", I really would like to delete my default footwear (if at all possible). I won't disable the shoes, as some clothing items I may purchase may have shoes that come with it.

If it is standard SL mesh shoes, go into appearance, select shoes, take off and save. You are now barefooted and will always be so until you put shoes on again.

If it is a prim set of shoes, just click edit on them and select detached, shoes removed.

To prevent shoes being added to your avatar in sets of clothing, make a new folder in clothing called, 'shoes' and drag all your shoes into it from all other folders, now it will be less likely you ever wear shoes again, however your shoes will remain in this folder and you can select them and choose wear if you so desire, alternatively just drag them back into the original clothes set folders.
