Hi.Has anyone heard of a weapon called 'Up Your Arsenal'? A friend of mine tells me it's the cat's pajamas of firepower. Reason: I'd like to check out some free-fire zones and have the means to effectively defend myself as I'm taking in the scenery..... If this weapon doesn't exist, what's a good alternative? Finally, where are the good hunting grounds? Happy 2008 one and all. Kisses.

"Have the means to effectively defend myself" and "Where are the good hunting grounds?" do not compute. Most Effective Defense: A Noncombatant tag, worn in plain sight. Second Most Effective Defense: Rez a plywood cube. Sit on it. Just as Effective, but Lots More Bells and Whistles: MystiTool. Most Offensive Firepower: I'm a peaceloving, nonviolent person who would never harm a flea, so I can't really tell you. But I hear that MystiTool's pretty good in this regard, too. And for bloodshed up close and personal, a CSi scripted katana is a fun tool. Besides, they look pretty.

Lol Alyx! Be aware that some areas of SL are combat-enabled, but most aren't. It's mos def not primarily an FPS game. But I think combat sims are a perfectly valid use of the platform ... so long as you're not taking pot shots at peacelovers or noobs, have at it. Up Your Arsenal is described here: http://www.slexchange.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=113012This is on the SLX (SL exchange) site, which offers a marketplace for SL-related products as well as a legitimate currency exchange.

I'm the wrong Alyx to answer but I can't condone this..it's got a CAT launcher! How CRUEL! (But most of the other bullets sound interesting-maybe I should try and find some combat sims, too...)

Thanx for the answers. It's just that I've played some FPSes (such as Doom and Unreal Tournament) in the past, and wished to try it in SL. Relax, peace-loving sorts; I'm not out to give anyone grief or hassle; I'm just looking for a game of capture the flag or something similar in a more or less regulated setting. BTW, got Mystitool and love it. I hope I never have to use certain of its features, but I'm glad I have them.
