Some friends and I recently bought some of the CIS Cell Phones. I think they are really nice because I can get rid of my im box. Though one of my friends (I will call him JD) and I have run into a problem and I think I have figured it out though I know nothing about scripting. I would like to know if my idea could be correct. First, I will tell you that JD and I show up as being not listed. I can call anyone other than JD, but they cannot call me or him.
As I was trying to figure out what the problem could be (creator not being online when I IM'ed), a thought entered my mind. JD and I are almost 3 years old in sl. Everyone else have been created within the past year. So, I ran a little test. I gave my phone and a gift phone to two that were online at the time, they were also created within the last year. After telling them how to work the phones they were both able to call and talk with each other and again not with me. My thought is this, is it possible the script within the phone that searches for listed people, not to be set back far enough in years to include JD and myself?
