I have seen a few people indicate that they use SLExchange to soley purches Lindens - what is the reason behind your preference? For selling, I see the obvious (for me) is getting the RL money to PayPal quicker. Unfortnately I haven't yet had that direction of cash flow.  |

slexchange rate is lower for buying then the lindex, so u get more L$ for ur $ when buying, selling u get more $ for ur L$ on the lindex then the slx

better help if a transaction does have problems
better exchange rate
lower PayPal fees, if you use PayPal's Mass Pay feature

Thanks for the replies. I have previously looked at SLExchange, and the fees seemed to initimidate me. I will have to give it another look-see with my calculator.  |

the higher the $ gets, u`ll see some advantage, try giving the math a go with low figures, realistic figures and with unrealistic figures of say a couple hundred $ best way to see the differences where exactly to buy * amount of L$ u want vs the rates charged, lindex has no bringing in money fees, so u compensate with that on the lindex higher exhange rate of 265/266 but could endup slightly cheaper then the slx in the end all depends on how much |

Well I talked to someone in SL and they buy on Ebay, said this gave more to the euro.
They said all thier purchases had been safe.
Ok in RL I use Ebay and allways been safe so I trust Ebay/PayPal. But one does hear of the bad stories, so can RL and SL meet safely?

Love June i`d stay far away from ebay for purchasing L$, the risk of it being stolen money is just to great as LL will reclaim the money and put a 50% fine ontop of that so u could plunge into the red pritty deep, slx/lindex abit more expensive but risk free with their risk api`s (well, nothing is risk free but compared to ebay, risk free |
