This is not anything pressing, but I was wondering if there is any way (in debug maybe?) to either freeze an avatar in a frame of an animation, or just generally choose the frame of an animation you want to display. I made this accessory that's quite hard to find a good pose for (to make a poster), so you can see it most effectively etc. I have an animation in my inventory that would work, but since I'm making the poster for several color versions I'd like to be able to determine exactly which frame of the animation is being shown. (So all the posters are exactly the same.) I know you can make anims display in slowmotion, but I'd like a complete freeze. Again, nothing really pressing. If there's no way I'll find some other pose or just eyeball the animation I already have, but it did make me wonder. Such a function could be useful for various reasons. If anyone knows...

wow good question..i would like to know this myself..
about the only thing i could think of is if the animation was full perm and maybe take it into an animation program or try to make the frame you are wanting in Qavimator or something like that.. it would be nice if say the stop button stopped us in that moment we chose..

When you reach the point in the animation you want, edit a prim attached to you. Hair, shoues, doesn't matter. Unless LL broke it, that always freezes the avatar

I often use animations for poses. I simply start the animation, position my camera the watch the animation run through a few loops till I can time the snapshot to get the frame I want. It usually takes a few to get there but it costs nothing to save to disk so no harm done there.

Advanced Character Slow Motion Animations might be of some use in this situation.

Annabelle, great suggestion! I totally didn't think about that. That'll work nicely, because I can still switch between different color versions of the product and the interface doesn't show in snapshots so. Thanks everyone for your input
