Help with Haunted House!

I don't know how to describe my house today other than haunted! I went into SL in my house in Desolation & was getting ready to change clothes when the entire house started shaking & rumbling & it threw me first into another room & then out into the front yard & then up into the air! From that point I couldn't move one way or the other. Finally I teleported to another area & tried to get back to my house. Again I was put up into the air above my house.

I talked with a friend in IMs & he said that it sounded like my security orb had gone weird & suggested that I pick it up. I did that & not a minute later my house did the same thing & threw me back outside & up into the air. Obviously it wasn't the orb. I checked the map & no one else in the entire sim.

Now I've had problems for weeks teleporting in & out of my house. I've reinstalled SL within the last couple days. The sim has also been reset within 2 days. I only wear one HUD & don't wear a lot of primmy things so don't have a lot that should cause problems teleporting. I don't know if these two issues are connected but thought I'd mention it just in case.

Has anyone had either of these two problems happen before or do you have any suggestions? Is it a bug or what? Right now I can't go to my house.

Edit: Btw no one else has problems teleporting to & from my house - just me. And I haven't had time to check yet if others get thrown out of the house today.

It almost sounds like someone shot you with something similar to the "hydra-shok" rounds in my pistol. They toss you around, and if you TP away and come back, they attack you again and continue to do so until the owner tells them to stop.

I don't know what's causing the problem. It's probably what Lindel said - she's a pretty smart cookie.

But there were no other green dots showing on the map at any time & the first time it happened my security orb was on & I would've at least got a warning. Nothing else that you can think of would do this? I'd really like to be able to get into my house & use it.

I've never heard of these things myself, Maggy, but from Lindall's description, it would seem the owner doesn't actually have to be there for the hydra-shok dooberries to do their dirty work. She mentions the owner has to tell them to stop, however, and perhaps they're not even online, never mind in the same sim with you?

Could you at least try not to zoom up and down while I'm trying to talk to you?

Well if it is the hydra-shock rounds from someone how can I possibly found out who if I can't see anyone & if they can do it offline?

p.s. ya speak of which, i'd really like to know ;0 is it programmed immune from parcel script/object-disabled settings somehow?

Maggy, it wasn't suggested that someone would be able to shoot you while they're offline: they would have done that while they were in-world. By Lindal's account the effects are the same as these hydra-shok bullets and she says the owner needs to tell them to stop. I was just speculating that perhaps the person who shot you - the owner - may not even be online never mind in the same sim with you.

Check your bumps/push log yet? Also, are all the objects on your plot things that you own? We once had a Mysti-tool disruption that sounds similar. If you are wearing any tools and or huds, try removing them and see if that throttles it. There is a "Drift" hud that tosses one about too.

Well, I found the problem - for some reason today my collar is causing the problem. It was find yesterday but today it's causing me to be kicked out of my house.

Evil collar? That'll teach you to use too much starch!

Give it to a scripter to find out why the problem happened. Don't treat it as a bug...it's a feature! At least, if you can make it controllable.

Yes Lindal, I talked with the maker yesterday & today we're going to work on the problem. It's a Tokon collar & the strange thing is that the collar was no problem before yesterday. And it's only the gold color version of it that's causing the problem. I can wear the silver version & the cuffs without any problem but when I put on the gold collar it immediately kicks me out of the house & throws me into the air. Anyway, will work with the maker today & hope that the problem can be solved.
