When i go to my profile at the groups...are all the groups where i am in..how can i hide them so other persons can't see it  ? |

Uncheck "List group in my profile" from the Group info window's "General" tab. You can't see the effect yourself--it only applies to how others see your profile.

Waaaay too late because you come up on Google and show on the homepage of the group you don't want to show on your profile.
EDIT: Look under top 20 visitors last 24 hours
NOTE TO SELF: Delete my subscription to "Beat me with a Wet Noodle" & remove that group from my profile.
