Hi all Secondlifers  Is anyone else having trouble with Paypal? I took some money from my Secondlife land sales out through Paypal. the Lindens have deposited the money with Paypal who were supposed to pass it on to me...but they won't. It shows I have just under $400 in my Paypal account but despite giving them my bank account details and requesting they deposit the money there repeatedly they are still holding onto my money. Now they won't even answer my questions or reply to me when I message them through their contact system. I would like to know if anyone else is having trouble or what I could do about this. I dont want to have to phone them as I live in New Zealand and its very expensive to call from over here. Looking forward to your thoughts. Aamiene |

I have had no problems with paypal.
Have you verified your paypal account?

Keep in mind there are monthly withdraw limits to the free Paypal accounts. I know the version I have has a 500 USD limit per month and if you've done any other transactions this month, you'll need to wait until the roll over to do it.

I had that problem on the weekend. pay pal shows LL got the money yet it never came to my account. I opened a support ticket... but who knows how long that will take. I know on the weekend they posted a notice saying no one do any transactions for a bit. but it was to late for me ...

I might be misunderstanding you, but you might be going about it wrong. Did you email requesting your money, or did you actually do a withdrawal? There is a mechanism built in to withdraw the money yourself, paypal doesn't do it for you. If you know this, just ignore me. Hope you get it worked out soon. |

I'm having a problem using PayPal today. Setup my free, verified paypal account on SL instead of the other one. It shows up in the Pay List on PayPal, but it's a failed transfer without any acknowledgment of why. I do not have a credit card attached on my PayPal and I do not have funds in the account except it pulls from my bank.
It worked fine with my Premium PayPal account the other day.
how about others?
oh i can also pay others directly with paypal.
