Knowing there's quite a big sailing community in Second Life, I wondered if anyone had ever heard about this device:

It's basically a desktop console that replicates the real controls from a boat, that can be plugged into "Microsoft ship simulator" (which I've never heard of before). I'm familiar with this company's "train driver console" and was surprised to see a ship version.

Although it's not due out till summer 2008, I thought I'd mention it in case someone might find it useful.

uhm... i fail to see the connection between that and sailing.
sailboats are the kind that uses the wind to get moving, you know.

Ours is a 50' ferros cement catch, but it can move fast once it gets going :) ...waaaiiiit... you ment in SL! (couldn't resist bragging :P)
