Is there a lower size limit for a parcel to show up in the new SEARCH ALL? Supposedly there isn't, but I have landing parcels for tenants that I have been paying for some time to appear in search that continue to not appear in the new "All" (which most people tend to use now). I really feel cheated to pay for something I am not getting. |

Yes I have parcels too that won't show up in the new search all even though I pay for them so I just gave up and unticked the 'show place in search'. Those parcels are smaller than 512 sqm so I thought that might be the reason but I'm not sure so that's why I'm asking if anyone might know.
I've also seen alot of parcels that seem to show up in search even though they aren't payed for. How is this possible? When I tp to them and check the 'about land' I can see that 'show place in search' is not ticked, but yet they show up fine in search all. I'd like to have an answer from a Linden how this works. It would be really good to know. |

No there's no size (lower) limit, they said it on Jira because there's a proposal to exclude small parcels from the search (to limit ad farming) and they said not.
There was (at least 3 weeks ago) a different scoring assignation (new search) based on the parcel size (a small percentage anyway), but that shouldn't prevent to not show the parcel at all. The parcels doesn't show on the new search engine because of a bug (again read the blog and jira) and there's no solution atm (no even know why it happens). |

When I tp to them and check the 'about land' I can see that 'show place in search' is not ticked, but yet they show up fine in search all. It's a mirage. If you don't own the parcel you don't get to see whether the "Show in places" checkbox is selected. I imagine this is a bug, as you ARE able to see the state of several other checkboxes on land you don't own. I have confirmed this fact by using an alt to inspect property my main owned where the checkbox was in fact checked. _____________________

You don't happen to have a link to that post in Jira? I'm curious. |
