I've setup a shoutcast stream using SamBroadcaster and Shoutcast server. The problem is at certain times one or two people can listen or noone can listen or everyone can listen ect.
So my question is, how do I fix it so that everyone on the parcel can listen to my stream via SL. Because I've had no problems with users connecting to it other ways just when they want to listen from second life.

When it does not work from inside SL, does it work using other clients?
If so, it's an SL problem ==> JIRA If not, it's most likely a server problem, so get in touch with them.
Anyway, good luck fixing this.

Could it be you hitting your max listener count? Shoutcast streams have a certain number of listener slots, once reached others can't connect until someone else disconnects.
If you have people listening outside of SL as well, they may be taking up your slots, which would cause what you are describing.

Well I know I'm not hitting my max users, because my user count is real low (1 or 2 listeners) because I've had my station off for so long. As far as I know if someone listens via winamp it works fine. But, I found it weird because it's only my station that seems to have the problem o.O

Lucian, are you using a third party server to run your stream? Say someone like neo stream services, where you pay X amount and they provide Y number of listener slots?
If this is the case, talk to your server provider.
Or is every listener attempting to listen to the stream from YOUR computer?
If this is the case, you are probably running out of bandwidth. Most DSL lines can support only about 3-4 listeners, a good cable connection might be able to handle up to 10.

Well, maybe that's the problem .-. I'll have to test it and find out.
