Can someone devide up land they own into parcels in shapes and sizes they desire? I know people that own Islands appear to have this ablity and people that own land act like they do on and off but these days most people have no clue what I am talking about. So I am wondering if people before were nuts, or if it's gone, or if it's posible and people just don't know. From: KittyCat Rosebud Next Stupid Question.
Is it 10 dollars Monthly plus Land Fees
Or is the Land Fee pricing the price you pay Monthly without needing to pay the Membership Fee?
So if I wanted 8k sq M.. would is be 40 dollars a Month for my account
or
40 + 9.95 = 49.95

u can shape the land in any way you want by cutting it into 16sqm`s and then join them in the end so you get a weird shape but no difference between mainland and island for that matter unless it is something that has been taken away along time ago

Hi Kitty If I understand your question correctly, yes, you can divide your land up into whatever combination shapes you like, bearing in mind the basic unit is a 16m2 square Inc

If you own land on the grid or own a private island, you can divide up land into plots of any size and shape in multiples of 16m^2. Whether or not someone who is renting or 'owns' land within a private estate is able to do the same depends on how the estate owner has set their estate up - an estate owner is able to enable/disable plot dividing via estate tools.

or
40 + 9.95 = 49.95 It would be US$49.95. With premium, you do get free tier of 512m^2, so you would be able to hold a total of 8704m^2 on the 8192 tier level. It's also worth pointing out that premium is cheaper if you sign up for annual membership.

I can't escape... atleast the ones on here aren't eatting my Lindens like they have been in game >.< But that does not answer my question. It also raises the question would that option have me pay 120 instead of 7.50?

Stupid Question 3
11-25-2007 06:35
If I wanted to pay my Monthly Fee with Lindens,.. would it do this or do I need to Sell Lindens on Lindex / To Linden Labs and then they would be credited as USD on my account that could be used for my Monthly Fee?

You would have to sell them on Lindex, and then Linden Lab will deduct the tier charge from the resulting US$ balance.

[I've been holding this question for how long?]

Actually, I have one more stupid Question.
Some land has a Different Prim Rate. Like I have seen probably 1.28-2.5
This means you multiply the number of prims the land would normally have by this different rate to arrive at the prims on land.
So for example,.. I saw a 1k land with 300+ prims availble for parcel.
Does this effect priceing?
Like would 2k still be 8 dollar [I think that's what the price chart said] or would there be higher fees because it is special land?

The answers I gave to previous posts refer to land where you pay tier directly to Linden Lab i.e on the main grid, or a whole private estate region. The 'object bonus' is a feature in private estates only - when you 'buy' land in private estates, you are paying tier/rent to another resident, not LL. So, not only would you need to direct the above question to the owner of the estate in which the land belongs, you also need to appreciate that they may have a completely different tier structure to LL's.

If it had been the situation you have mentioned Mjolnir, and there are several plots owned by the same avatar/group within the same sim without being joined, take a look at 'about land' > objects tab. Here you can see two numbers - 'Simulator prim usage' will give the total for all land owned by that group/avatar in the sim, and 'prims parcel supports' will give you the total for that particular parcel only.

Okay,.. I've been flying around the whole Sim.
If I go into Covenent they all say the same person, while owners are different. But it looks like all the Parcels on Sim have Bonus.

The object bonus in private estates can only be set per sim, so if 'region object bonus factor' displays in 'about land' >objects tab, then it will be the same for all parcels within that sim.
