Hi, apologies if this is covered somewhere else. I've just checked my DOB on SL and it is 10 days earlier than I actually joined. Am I missing something?

Hmm.. Unless you got hacked prior to even creating the account, it's probably a rounding job. Not sure.. seeing as I don't remember the day I created my account, or my alt's. Gotta stop doing things while having a migraine.

I wish I knew the answer, because it seems like a pretty weird problem. Did you create a basic account, go ten days and then upgrade to premium? Maybe you're rememebring the day you upgraded instead of the DOB.

Thanks Trout Dang. Sorry, that's all I can think of. So it says your DOB is the 3rd? That doesn't make sens if they were rounding to the nearest whole month or something. It would go to the 1st. Y2K bug? Probably not.

LL has dropped the standard Gregorian calendar in favor of the Julian calendar. Something to do with marketing to the Berber people of northern Africa.

Random guess: someone registered "Eve Drechsler" on the 3rd but put in a fake email addie and some proggie at LL received the bounce email and released the name, but the date of birth doesn't get reset. That would actually be "clever" and reduce the number of sign-ups so it's probably not something LL would do  . |

Actually, since the SL "day" (light/dark cycle) is approximately four hours, there's 6 SL "days" per RL day. With downtime, grid-monkey time, and rolling restarts, some RL days may only get 4-5 SL days. So when LL converted your SL age to RL age, they probably forgot to include grid-monkey time in the equation.
